2008 Lifan Build

This page will cover a total strip down and build of a new Lifan LF110GY-3 Trail 70.

Here is out totality disassembled frame ready for sandblasting

Fames back from sandblasting and we start the metal work

We decided to fill in this upper hole in the frame with sheet metal and weld some of the seams

After all of the welding is complete we filed in the low spots with body filler

With all the body work completed the frame is mounted to our new bike frame stand for paint

The fame is wiped down with a tack cloth to prep the surface for paint

First coat of epoxy primer on the frame and head light bucket

2nd coat of epoxy primer
